A través de una serie de intervenciones puntuales dentro de los patios del MoMA PS1, Weaving the courtyard propuso generar diferentes atmósferas para invitar a los visitantes del museo a permanecer y hacer suyo el espacio durante el verano, de tal suerte que el museo se convierte en equipamiento urbano, más allá de solamente un espacio de exposición.
Weaving the Courtyard was the winning proposal for the 2016 MoMA PS1 Young Architect Program.
Through a series of acupunctures within MoMA PS1´s courtyards, Weaving the Courtyard set out to generate different atmospheres in each courtyard, inviting the visitor to appropriate the space and take a pause during the summer, expanding public space into the museum and the museum beyond its nature as an exhibition space.
